Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully, as they incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by Kintetsu International Express Oceania Pty Ltd. (KINTETSU)

Deposit and final payments:

A non-refundable deposit of a$165.00 per person is required within 7days of confirmation. The balance of payment is payable no later than 30days prior to departure, or in some instances earlier, when special supplier conditions apply.

Should the deposit or balance of payment not be received by the due date, KINTETSU reserve the right to cancel all reservations. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Cancellation and refunds:

If you cancel or terminate your holiday we will charge a cancellation fee. The price of your holiday is not guaranteed until full payment is received by KINTETSU.

• Prior to final payment in full there will be no refund of your deposit or any additional supplier deposit, unless applicable.

• After final payment there will be no refund of the deposit of A$165.00 per person (Australian GST inclusive) or any fees that may be charged by hotels and ground operators up to 100% of the cost.

• If documents must be replaced after having been issued by KINTETSU, a fee of A$30 per booking will be charged by KINTETSU in addition to any charges levied by hotels and ground operators.

A document reissue means a change to an existing booking and not a transfer to another package wherein cancellation fees may apply.

• No refund is available for cancellations after a holiday package has commenced or in respect of any tours, accommodation, meals or any other services note utilized as a result of cancellation.

Changes in prices and itineraries:

All prices are in Australian dollars except where noted. Prices are correct at time of printing and subject to limited availability. Prices are based on tariffs at 01April2005. If we have to change your booking or part of it for reasons beyond our control, we will notify you. If the change or changes result in your holiday costing more or otherwise being materially different from that contemplated prior to the change or changes being affected and in respect of which we have already accepted your deposit or balance payment, you have the right to ask for a rearrangement or to withdraw from the holiday at which time arrangement will be made to refund and monies already paid less any charges levied by suppliers.

Late booking Acceptance:

Bookings made within 30days of departure will only be accepted if KINTETSU receives full payment at the time of reservation. Non-refundable service fee of $30 per file applies to bookings made within 10days of departure.

Payment by credit card:

The prices shown are for payment by cash. Payment by credit card an additional credit card merchant fee will apply. Ask consultant for details.

Good and Service Tax (GST):

 All prices are inclusive of Australian GST where applicable.

Passport, Visas, and Health:

All passengers require a passport, and it is the responsibility of each passenger to have a passport and appropriate visas valid for the entire duration of their trip. Passenger should check with embassies or consulates of the countries in which they intend to transit or travel from, for any entry or exit visa requirements. Passenger must have a valid passport with at least 6months remaining validity. KINTETSU recommends that you check the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade website (www.dfat.gov.au) prior to booking any travel arrangements for the most up to date travel information.

Travel Insurance:

KINTETSU recommends that all passengers take out adequate travel insurance to cover cancellations, health requirements, luggage and valuable etc. Ask us for more details.

Product descriptions:

Descriptions featured are based on current hotel guides and information provided by hotels and suppliers. Any facilities shown as included are subject to change at any time.

Disability: Tour Arrangements are provided by KINTETSU on the condition that if you are suffering from any disability which may affect your capacity to safely undertake the tour that you notify KINTETSU of such disability and KINTETSU reserves the right to decline any booking where it reasonably believes that it is not possible to guarantee the welfare of any person during the tour.

Land–only service fee:

A service fee of A$30 will be charged for land-only bookings.

Maps and photographs:

Maps are shown for general information and may not necessarily reflect actual routings, locations or services provided. Photographs show places in the geographic area, but are not necessarily included in the holiday. Photographs showing hotel rooms may not be examples of the room to be occupied.

Responsibilities:

KINTETSU advises that the service it provides is for the booking and packaging of goods and services provided by other operators such as hotels and transportation companies. Passengers are advised to familiarise themselves with the terms and conditions on which these services are supplied. Accordingly KINTETSU will not be responsible and will be excluded from liability for any loss, damage, omission or acts being negligent or otherwise, committed by the operators or airlines, coach lines, hotel or attractions used in connection with the tours.
